Everyone Legal Clinic (lower cost representation services) (New to Clicklaw)
This referral service connects you to a supervised articling clinician, for a family, tenancy/strata, employment, wills/estates, civil, corporate, consumer or criminal law issue. You can use the 24/7 online booking service or call to schedule an initial meeting with a clinician (up to 30 minutes) by videoconference or telephone.

BC Residential Tenancy Branch

Residential Tenancy Branch Phone Service (Updated)
The RTB phone service now has available free, real-time interpretation services in more than 200 languages. Contact the Residential Tenancy Branch for information, education and dispute resolution services for landlords and tenants.

Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS)

Stand Informed Legal Advice Service (New)
CLAS is excited to launch Stand Informed, a new independent legal advice service for people who have experienced sexual assault in BC and reside in BC. They are currently providing 3 hours of FREE, confidential legal information and advice to clients. Stand Informed provides holistic, trauma-informed services, and is looking to collaborate further with other victim support and ending violence organizations. If you are interested in using Stand Informed’s services or just want more information, they can be reached by calling 604-673-3143 (or Toll-free 1-888-685-6222) or emailing standinformed[at]clasbc[dot]net.

The Supreme Court BC Online Help Guide website has updated their guidebook series. The individual guidebooks for Civil Law are also listed on Clicklaw.

After separating from a partner, you may want to know if you can change the locks to your rental home. Different living situations can create different legal rights and responsibilities. This guide will help you figure out if you can change the locks and how to get it done.

The Centres provide culturally appropriate information, advice, support and representation directly to Indigenous people at the community level. While focused primarily on criminal law and child protection issues, they also offer additional services based on community and cultural needs. The Indigenous Justice Centre added a new location in Chilliwack.
