Do you help 60’s Scoop survivors or know an organization who does?

PovNet has created a website to connect survivors and applicants with local organizations who may be able to help them through the application process, as the deadline approaches at the end of August.

What you can do

  1. Check this Organization List to see if your organization (or any others you know of) are listed: http://scoop.wordpress2.vcn.bc.ca/organization-list/
  2. To have your organization added, please fill in and submit this form: http://scoop.wordpress2.vcn.bc.ca/organization-addition-form/

Deadline

The goal is to have organizations added by this Friday, August 2nd, in time to promote this website with the public on Tuesday, August 6th after the long weekend.

Please share as needed. Thank you!

Legal Help for 60’s Scoop Survivors

Atira in partnership with the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic, the Amici Curiae Friendship Society, and Carnegie Community Centre (with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC), will be offering assistance to 60’s Scoop Survivors to file for the 60’s Scoop Survivors Class Action.

Please note the class action ends August 30, 2019 and we hope to assist as many eligible 60’s Scoop Survivors as we possibly can before then. Atira can assist women to apply and the other organizations listed can help other 60’s Scoop survivors as well.

Contact information for assistance is provided in the attached poster (PDF). Please disseminate/share widely.
