LawStartBC: New Promotion Campaign Featuring Clicklaw

Spreading the word about Clicklaw

At Courthouse Libraries BC, we’re launching a new campaign for the public, called LawStartBC. The campaign showcases Clicklaw and the Clicklaw HelpMap as part of an integrated package of legal information and assistance for the public: 

Fridge magnet puzzle for LawStartBC
  • Online: the Clicklaw website features legal information and education aimed at the public
  • In your community: the HelpMap on Clicklaw can help the public find someone in their community who can assist with legal problems
  • At your public library: the LawMatters program helps public libraries across BC provide current legal information
  • At Courthouse Libaries BC: the public can access in-depth legal resources & databases at our 30 locations, and get assistance from law librarians (in Vancouver and 6 regional locations or 1.800.665.2570).

We’re officially launching the campaign at Vancouver Law Day on Saturday, April 17: stop by our display table if you’re coming down to the Vancouver Public Library between 10:00 and 2:00!

On Saturday, April 17, the Clicklaw team will be at Vancouver’s Law Day events. The events highlight the British Columbia justice system and the many legal resources available to the public. We’ll be unveiling our new Courthouse Libraries BC promotion campaign called LawStartBC, which showcases Clicklaw and the Clicklaw HelpMap as part of an integrated package of legal information and assistance for the public.   

Law Day will be held from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Vancouver Public Library’s central branch at 350 West Georgia Street. The Law Day events include a mock trial, two free public forums and display booths (come and check out ours!).
