by Seniors First BC and North Shore Neighbourhood House- What: This presentation introduces what frauds and scams are, common methods and schemes targeting Canadian seniors, safety strategies, and resources to consult if you or someone you know has been affected by frauds/scams. This is held at John Braithwaite Community Centre, 145 West 1st Street. Registration is required.

- How You Can Get Free Legal Information and Services (Webinar and In-Person)
by AC Friends of Court- What: As part of the Everyday Law Series, AC Friends of Court volunteers help you understand legal procedures and complete paperwork for free. This is held at Thompson Nicola Regional Library, Kamloops branch 100 – 465 Victoria St. Kamloops. You can also attend via Zoom.

- RDSP Level 1 (Webinar)
by Plan Institute- What: The Level 1: Intro to the RDSP webinar is for those who want to learn what an RDSP is, who qualifies, how to apply for the Disability Tax Credit, and how to open an RDSP. This is best suited to people who want to learn the basics of RDSPs and get general information about the plan. No background knowledge is needed.
