- Creating Safety in BC Courts: Key Challenges and Recommendations (Webinar)
by Rise Women’s Legal Centre- What: Rise Women’s Legal Centre will discuss their latest report on improving the legal system and access to justice. This webinar will highlight the key challenges facing survivors of violence and discuss the 25 recommendations for positive changes to courthouses in BC.

- Dealing with a Problem Executor (Webinar)
by People’s Law School- What: If you have an interest in an estate in British Columbia but are not the one handling things, you may have questions. How much disclosure are you entitled to? How long can the process drag on for? What if the executor isn’t competent or, worse yet, dishonest? Being an executor is a demanding role. But if you’re depending on an executor to deal with an estate, you may find yourself frustrated and not knowing where to go for help. - Colour of Violence: Race Gender and Anti-Violence Services (In-Person)
by Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS)- What: Over the past year, BWSS has been engaged in a community-based research project to better understand and raise awareness on the experiences of Indigenous, Black, newcomer immigrant/refugee, and racialized survivors accessing gender-based violence services in British Columbia. ASL interpretation available. Food and refreshments. BWSS urges attendees to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
