- How You Can Get Free Legal Information and Services (In-Person and Webinar)
by AC Friends of Court Society- What: AC Friends of Court is pleased to announce the return of their Everyday Law Series. In partnership with the Richmond Public Library, AC will be presenting “How You Can Get Free Legal Information and Services”. It will be presented in person at RPL’s Brighouse branch at 7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond and via Zoom. The presentation will be delivered in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Held at the Vancouver Public Library, Central Branch, 350 West Georgia Street.

by Seniors First BC and Abbotsford Recreation Centre- What: This presentation introduces the importance of staying connected. It discusses issues of social isolation and loneliness including risk factors, the correlation between social isolation and decreased well-being, and ideas for how we can stay connected with others. Held at Abbotsford Recreation Centre, 2499 McMillan Rd., Abbotsford.

by Plan Institute- What: The Level 1: Intro to the RDSP webinar is for those who want to learn what an RDSP is, who qualifies, how to apply for the Disability Tax Credit, and how to open an RDSP. This is best suited to people who want to learn the basics of RDSPs and get general information about the plan. No background knowledge is needed.

This webinar includes more complicated information so attendees should already have a basic understanding of the RDSP. It is also recommended that attendees review our glossary of terms beforehand.
