    • What: Co-ops, strata corporations, and all housing providers have duties under BC’s Human Rights Code to avoid discrimination against residents and take effective action if it occurs. Many of DWDC supporters have a keen interest in being able to make an advance request for medical assistance in dying (MAID), should they be diagnosed with a grievous and irremediable condition that may lead to a loss of capacity to provide informed consent.
